Our challenge is a little different today!

Today, we’re putting space between ourselves and our thoughts!

This may sound sort of funny! After all, aren’t they our thoughts? How can we create space? Here’s a little secret - we don’t have to believe every thought that we have. They can simply be a thought. In meditation, we work to observe our thoughts and not react to them. In a sense, we create space between them and ourselves.

Your challenge today is to apply this concept to your thoughts. Our thoughts create emotions which create actions. Today, I challenge you to observe your thoughts. Decide if it’s a thought you’d like to believe. Then, decide whether you’ll react to it. Or, you can decide to just let the thought drift away as if on the gentle waves of a lake.

Give a shot! This may take practice! But I think you’ll like the results.
